Kilmaurs Medical Practice forced to move by storm damage

Medical services in Kilmaurs have been hit by the weather, with Glencairn Medical Practice, East Park Drive, being forced to relocate after being seriously damaged by high winds and severe storms.

East Ayrshire Council has been liaising with NHS Ayrshire & Arran and the GPs at the practice and has provided alternative accommodation within Crosshouse Area Centre. Systems have been set up and the practice will be up and running from Wednesday 4th January 2012. It is anticipated that the GPs will operate from this location for the foreseeable future.
